Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Shell, operated by Shell, does with your personal data when you visit this site or place an order.
1. What we collect
- Order details — name, email address, optional phone number, the card amount and quantity you ordered, and, for gift orders, the recipient's email and your message.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site and UTM parameters.
- Advertising identifiers — cookies and pixel identifiers set by the services listed in section 4.
2. Why we use it
- To process and deliver your order and to contact you about it.
- To provide customer support and handle refund requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud.
- To measure advertising performance and improve the site.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers who help us operate: our payment processor, email delivery provider, hosting provider and analytics/advertising platforms. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.
4. Cookies and tracking
This site uses the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads. It records page views and actions such as selecting a card and submitting an order form. [Add Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and TikTok Pixel here if you enable them in the site configuration.]
You can opt out through your browser cookie settings, or via Meta's ad preferences.
5. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 5 years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Technical and advertising data is kept for the retention period of the relevant platform.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Write to support@shell.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by law.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
